I Dropped My Ipod Touch In the toilet! Please help!?

I dropped my iTouch in the toilet and it was totally submerged before I fished it out. It's off now and I dried it off with a towel and Im putting it into a Ziplock bag of rice! Will that help, or should I let it air dry? I have no warranty, btw.
