What does this sound like to you?

imagine a nerve in your body... say the most important one (if there is one)... and it is hacked at like trying to be cut down... then that nerve is cut down... but almost (if you can imagine) like a hair follicle begins to grow (new life) beneath the surface or under the skin... to which whatever is trying to cut down or destroy that nerve responds, responds by burrowing into where the nerve grows (beneath the skin) and begins to destroy it as it tries to grow or get rooted... so much so that this nerve now actually does not grow though tries, but at every initiation of indication of growth that nerve is yet again stopped or destroy until now whatever it is that is trying to destroy it and prevent it from beginning to even (grow or produce) begins to make the environment so unstable and unliveable that it doesn't stand a chance and will soon have that area underneath the skin surface burrowed out enough (destroying it when there is nothing left to be destroyed) that life is not sustainable so will it grow? or continue to try to?
