Doctor prescribes medication, patient tells her I sell these for pot. What do I do?

I know of a doctor that prescribes pain medication to a patient that has told her "I'm selling these for pot." Patient has state medical. How is this legal? Why would a doctor willingly prescribe a narcotic pain killer to someone she knows is selling it?
