Has anyone got any advise on Vasectomy Reversal Please?
It is possible, but it is highly unlikely. Since he already has a good return of sperm with motility then it can happen...after all, all it takes is one, or so people say. Really, experts will tell you it takes around 20 million motile sperm. At least, that is the level needed for any man to be considered fertile. I've heard of quite a few people who have gotten their BFP's the first month of trying even with reversal as a factor. The reason it usually takes longer though is that while a man is vasectomized, he body cannibalizes his sperm, using microplanges that "rip" the sperm apart and absorb it away. It takes 75 days for sperm to be produced and work their way through the man's system, from the testicles, into the epididymis, on through the vas defernes, up to the seminal vesicle where it is stored and mixed with prostate fluid and on out the with an ejaculation. So the sperm you see now was actually produced while your husband was still vasectomized. 55,000 sperm are produced per minute, millions per day. Most couples are told to ttc for a year before uming there is a problem. I sure hope you get your BFP soon. There's nothing like holding a reversal miracle in your arms!
