Volunteering abroad in high school?

I would like to spend this coming spring break volunteering abroad. I am 17 (will be 18) and a senior in high school. What programs are good for this? And are there any that offer scholarships or a way to pay for airfare and the trip? Money is tight at the moment but I would love to have this experience and help people.
