Self-esteem?

If he is not very attractive himself it sounds like he feels like he needs to make you feel unsure of your looks and appeal so that you will feel worthless and unappealing to others. He must make you feel unattractive to other men so you will remain with him. YOU must be the judge of how you are doing with your weight and size and not listen to him..in fact, you must not listen to anything he says about your appearance. I suspect the better you look the more he is going to attempt to make you feel unsure of yourself. Go forward with your excercise...keep toning and making yourself feel good..to your OWN expectations. He will never be trustworthy to listen to in this regard. NEVER ask him how you look as his feedback is not going to be legitimate. The only thing that you can be certain of...he IS wanting to keep you, but it is unfair the way he is trying to do so...by throwing you off balance making you feel like he is all you can get.
