I have a bad reaction to codine..what do I take?

Since i have had my gall bladder out i have a reaction to codine and things with codine in them. I just learned that morphine is a form of codine and was suprised that i had a reaction to it in the hospital when they put it in my IV even after i told them i cant have codine! after having codine..20 min later i will get a real bad stomach pain. its high up on my stomach almost under my rib cage.. feels like i was punched real hard with a big fist and the fist stays there putting presure..its scary because it makes it hard to beath like real real bad heart burn.. i need to moan and push air out from the bottom of my belly and make my self vomit to relase a little presure so i can breath.. It comes in waves and lasts one to two hours. I have been having a hard time having Drs listen to me about this.." its not an allergy just a intollerance" but it feels like i might stop breathing or my heart might stop and they cant do anything for me.. what if I cant tell them about my reaction and they give me morphine or codine in some form.. i want to prevent something bad from happening.. can anyone help?
