How do you help someone with a serious gambling problem?

my mom is addicted to bingo she spends more money there then she could ever possibly win and the money that she dose win there she spends it back there.... also she knows that because I calculated it and showed her the chart but she still goes? why dose she continue to go when she is statistically loosing a lot more than gain.....
